The breast lift procedure involves removing excess skin and tissue from the breasts in order to restore their natural contour. During the procedure, the nipples will be repositioned to give them a more youthful projection. Breast lift surgery usually requires two to three hours to complete.

Are you a Candidate for Breast Lift Surgery?

You may be a candidate for breast lift surgery if your:
-Breasts lack substance or firmness
-Nipples and areolas point downward (particularly if they are positioned below the breast crease)
-Bustline is comprised of loose, hanging skin
-Breasts that developed so that one breast is firm and well-positioned while the other is not
-Breast asymmetry (difference in size)
Breast Lift with Implants (Mastopexy) For women who are dissatisfied with small breast size and a sagging bustline, combining the two procedures can be a good way to significantly enhance the figure.

To lift the breasts, excess skin from the bottom of the breasts and the area around the areola is removed.

Then, the remaining skin is gathered to tighten and raise the breasts. The saline or silicone gel implants of the patient’s choice are inserted, and sterile sutures are applied for optimal healing. It should be noted that a breast lift requires larger incisions than a breast enlargement alone.

Breast Lift/Breat Lift with Implants: Surgery may last for two to three hours, with the aid of general anesthesia. Recovery period is 2-4 weeks.

If a breast augmentation/breast lift combination is of interest to you, please request a consultation with Dr. Jacobs or Dr. Hawner
